The Szélrózsa meeting was established more than 25 years ago on the initiative of evangelical youth under the umbrella of the Hungarian Evangelical Church.
At that time, the national Christian convention was unique in Hungary.
Already for the first time, hundreds of young people flocked to Váralja, and since then, one of the largest events of the Lutheran Church is organized every other summer, with an audience of several thousand.
In addition to devotions, lectures, round table discussions, and concerts on several stages, countless sports competitions, games of skill or mental games, craft activities, and cultural programs ensure the festival atmosphere.The festival is unique both regionally and nationally.
